The event "Festival of Space" was
born in 2005. These editions have been visited by over hundreds
and hundreds of people a year (the average of 800/900
people-edition).

But the first Festival of Space,
in 2009, was visited by around 1300, originating, in particular
from the southern areas but also from central and northern
peninsula. The second edition has seen to revive and consolidate
the success of public appearances over 1200, found in the
previous edition. This shows, conclusively, how the
professionalism is always rewarded.

The Bari scientific manifestation
hosted many personalities in these years, among them are: Dr.
Umberto Guidoni (Italian astronaut), Prof. Luciano Guerriero (former
Director of the Italian Space Agency), Dr . Sergio Fonti (PFS
Mars Express project manager), Sunday Elias (CERN - Geneva) and
Mauro Gaffo (Deputy Director of the monthly Focus).
